Car Trunk Fall Sub-Scenes

Sub-scene 1: "Almost Falls, No Need to Catch"

EXT. PARKING LOT - DAY

A MAN opens the trunk of his car, arms full of bags. As he adjusts, the trunk door swings wide, and a bag on the edge teeters precariously. He instinctively reaches to catch it, but then stops. The bag stabilizes on its own.

MAN
(muttering)
Huh, lucky break.

He shrugs and continues unloading.

Sub-scene 2: "Catch the Fall"

EXT. PARKING LOT - DAY

The MAN, once again at his trunk, juggles a handful of bags. The trunk door opens wider than expected, causing a bag to tumble off the edge. This time, his reflexes kick in, and he snatches it mid-air.

MAN
(grinning to himself)
Still got it.

He tosses the saved bag into the backseat and continues unloading.

Sub-scene 3: "The Reverse Order"

EXT. PARKING LOT - DAY

The MAN opens the trunk as usual. A bag immediately slips out and falls to the ground with a heavy thud.

MAN
(sighs)
Of course.

He kneels down, picks up the bag, and tosses it into the back seat. He continues grabbing bags when the trunk door opens again, sending another bag falling, but this time he catches it just in time.

MAN
(smiling)
Reflexes on point today.

As he goes for the last bag, it wobbles, but he doesn't even bother to reach out. The bag settles on its own, staying in place.

MAN
(chuckling)
Not falling for that again.

He shuts the trunk and walks away, satisfied.
